Japanese Mini Toolboxes, Pens Pencils Boxes
Wooden mini boxes made following the design of the traditional Japanese toolboxes. I made a dozen of them with various natural colored woods, like padauk (red), cherry (orange), obeche (yellow) and walnut on the main body. These style of boxes have a clever locking system of the lid with a wedge tapered on both sides so once locked in place it will hold the lid. They are about 8 long overall and 6. 5 inside, so they can be used as pen and pencil box too. Finish is danish oil and Renaissance wax.
