Origami Design Process: Snake and Mouse Hudsons Zoom Birthday Party Online Tutoring Session

This cool origami Snake and Mouse model emerged out of Hudson s Birthday Zoom session and I was so pleased with how it came out that I m posting the session to share with you the process of origami design. Usually I don t record the sessions until the end of the session (and only if we reach a completed model), but for this one I could tell from the first few folds that the model was likely going to be super awesome, so I asked him and his mom if I could record it and they agreed. At 2:50 we get stuck trying to make the mouse s ears but I figured it out at 5:46. I still might refine this model and make a proper tutorial but I felt that uploading the raw footage design process could help people get a sense for the process of designing new models and inspire them to start designing models on their own.
