M, S of the boys walking up a very steep hill, there is a scenic view of the valley behind them, one the boys slips and another boy prods him with a walking stick. C, U of boys in smart uniforms entering a large civic building, as they go in one by one, their master introduces them to the mayor of Aberystwyth who shakes their hands.
