Charles Mouton, Pieces in c minor

Performance by Nigel North, Baroque lute, on 20 March 2016 as part of a concert entitled ca. 1685, at the Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake IL, USA. The suite is taken from the première livre of Mouton s 1699 collection, Pièces de luth sur differents modes: Prélude Tombeau de Madame, Pavanne La Libertin, Canarie La belle Florantine, Sarabande La belle Espagnolle, Chaconne La belle Danceuse, Gavottes The 11course lute was built by Lars Jonsson in 2005, after Hans Frei.
