Seminar on Superconductivity with exciton mechanism, a promising high Tc candidate by Junhui Cao

On 12th March at Moscow time, ACTP will hold a seminar on Superconductivity with exciton mechanism, a promising high Tc candidate by Junhui Cao (ACTP). Abstract As bosons, excitons are expected to show the capacity behaving like phonons to couple electrons, while modern stateofart experiment techniques allow researchers to precisely control excitons in the semiconductor. It seems to achieve high Tc superconductivity with excitons is no more a pipe dream. In this seminar, I will briefly introduce the theory of exciton mechanism for superconductivity and analyze the feasibility.
