Painting a snow scene in oils

Hi there Today I am painting a snow scene in oils. I had an art group demo, about painting snow coming up, and wanted some practice we don t get much snow in Cornwall This is a studio alla prima painting that I did in one session at the easel. In my reference photograph there were two figures (and my dog) but I chose not to include them in the final painting. I think they may have helped introduce some colour into the scene but I liked the emptiness of the scene. Thank you for watching. Please feel free to ask any questions in the comments section.
