Man Fires Gun Before Nashville Police Officers Fatally Shoot Him
(Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) Madison, Tennessee On November 12, 2022, Metro Nashville Police Officers were on on Maple Street in response to an earlier shooting that did not involve officers. They say a 32yearold man was found with gunshot wounds in a parking lot just off Gallatin Pike South. He was transported to a hospital, and detectives say he did not give any information on what happened to him. 33 minutes after the initial call, video footage shows a man approaching and walking under crime scene tape toward an officer as the officer asks him to take his hands out of his pockets. Footage from another angle shows an officer backpedaling as the man advances toward him. The man can be seen raising a gun and firing several shots before appearing to be hit by return fire and collapsing. Officials say that three Metro Police officers fired at a man after he pulled out a pistol on them. The man died at the scene. It is not known whether
