Amsterdambased singer Giovanca worked as a backing vocalist for ten years before her first single On My Way was released in 2008. This song, taken from her debut album Subway Silence, has kicked off her career. Soon Giovanca was 3FM Serious Talent, her single was played frequently on the radio and in 2010 she received a Silver Harp Award and a Golden Record.
