In Full: Post Office legal boss gives evidence
A current Post Office legal executive is to give evidence to the inquiry today. Rodric Williams is currently the organisations head of legal for dispute resolution and brand. He was previously a litigation lawyer for the Post Office. The inquiry has previously heard evidence suggesting that he was on conference calls discussing Horizon issues and was briefed on glitches in the Horizon system. More than 900 subpostmasters were wrongfully prosecuted as a result of the Horizon scandal, which saw faulty software record nonexistent shortfalls on accounts.
