This song is a Bside of PeekABoo 12 (1988), which was included in Downside Up BSides and Rarities Album released in 2004. SIOUXSIE The identity of this song really came into being when we were mixing Peepshow deep in the heart of Soho at the now defunct Marquee studio, which was accessed via an old dark alleyway. Every night, long after midnight with great ceremony and commotion, a lady of the night on her way home from work would stop to feed the starving local felines who would miraculously appear from out of the shadows on SEVERIN When I was young there was a TV programme starring Helbert Lom, The Human Jungle. The theme music had always stuck in my mind. It had a kind of John Barry feel with a walking bass line. This was my approximation of it.
