ZPC Gameplay
Part of my Obscure First Person Shooters series: Gameplay footage from ZPC, an acronym for Zero Population Count. Also released for the Macintosh, demonstrated here is the PC version, no doubt the superior simply by virtue of not being on a Mac. Filled with weird ass Soviet stylized imagery courtesy of Aidan Hughes (probably best known for his work for KMFDM), ZPC actually runs on Bungie s Marathon engine, hence featuring all the nauseatingly tiled wall textures, ridiculously tall rooms, and insane floaty physics that Marathon is so famous for. Sadly, despite the promise of their great engine used to power great games such as ZPC, this little known Bungie company would soon become destined to obscurity after failing to deliver another hit game series in their short lifetime.
