In this video, I am restoration a Handle of a hunting knife. Hello to all my subscribers and just visitors to my channel. I present to your attention another project for the restoration of a hunting knife made of Böhler 440C steel. The knife was provided to me by blogger Alex Stahlhelm for restoration. The hunting knife blade is made of Böhler 440C steel. The covers for the knife handle are made of deer horn. The task of the restoration is to completely restore the knife handle. First I remove the old rivets. It was important for me to keep the covers on the knife handle. I made new spacers from the brass grip plates and completely redesigned the heel of the hunting knife grip. We solder rectangular brass blanks to brass inserts. I cut off the excess material and, with the help of a file, gave the heel of the handle a rough shape. The next step was processing the heel of the knife with sandpaper from 120 to 1000 grit. New pins were made on a lathe. To do this, I needed a brass rod with a diameter of 6 mm
