The Donetsk Airport is in the hands of the selfproclaimed Donetsk People s Republic (DPR) forces Friday, after one of the longest and most deadliest battles of the conflict in east Ukraine. The last Ukrainian soldiers retreated from their positions in the airport on Thursday, but Ukrainian forces still remain in the area.
