Podcast, 8 : LVMH et Polytechnique
Retour sur la tentative dimplantation du groupe LVMH sur le campus de lécole Polytechnique et son échec, presque un an jour pour jour après celui du projet similaire porté par le groupe pétrolier Total. LVHM souhaitait créer un nouvel écosystème de recherche et de développement dédié au luxe durable et numérique en investissant 100 millions deuros et 22 000m2 de terrain. Derrière loptimisme affiché du projet se cache un long travail dinfluence silencieusement mené par le géant du luxe, mêlant des manias de la finance, des anciens Polytechniciens, le cabinet de conseil McKinsey, un ministère et une mairie darrondissement parisien.
