Alsatian Dogs (1953)

Uppingham, Rutland. Various shots of an Alsatian dog called Fox doing several tricks in a field, under the instruction of his owner and trainer Ted Toon. Fox jumps through hoops, climbs up a ladder and along a tightrope, carries an egg in his mouth without breaking it, jumps through Ted s arms, carries a pole with a flame at each end up a ladder and across a plank and jumps through a flaming hoop. Local farmers look on. Ted s other dog, Rita, leaps over a high wall. Ted sits on a chair and a man ties his feet together. Fox undoes the knot with his teeth. Finally we see Fox and Rita jump into Ted s arms.
