Amir Rustamzadeh is the Director of Developer Experience at Cypress. He is a classically trained electrical engineer that just couldn t shake his urges of building for the web. He s experienced in developing mission critical systems for the aerospace industry, and other large enterprises, but now enjoys his days working on Cypress, an opensource tool for building higher quality software for the web. Cypress completely reimagined the developer experience of testing components. They ve set out to bring the same Cypress workflow and API that developers have to come love for E2E testing to component testing. In doing so, they ve overcome many of the common painpoints that exist within status quo tooling and have created the ultimate testing tool for componentdriven development.
