Kid Size Cooking: Béchamel Cheese Sauce
Here is 6YearOld David in his first cooking video He was SOOOO proud of himself for making a family dinner all by himself Here is the recipe we used: 4 tablespoons of butter 4 tablespoons of flour 3 cups of milk 2 teaspoons of salt A few shakes of pepper (just what you prefer for your tastes) We add more milk than some bechamel recipes call for in order to make it thinner for a pasta sauce We also use margarine instead of butter, so we used more of it that normal. If you are using real butter, 3 tablespoons of butter, flour and 3 cups of milk will do.
