SLS RS 25 Engine Test, 21 February 2018

An RS25 rocket engine was powered to 113 percent thrust level, the highest RS25 power level yet achieved, for 50 seconds of a 260second test, conducted on the A1 Test Stand at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, on 21 February 2018. NASAs Space Launch System (SLS) will be powered by four RS25 engines firing simultaneously. Credit: NASA
