Marcia Barrett, Original Member and Vocalist of Boney M. , was the lead singer of the singles Belfast and We Kill The World as well as a number of album tracks between 1976 and 1981 in which period she also released a solo single You. After Boney M. s split in 1990 Marcia began recording for herself, but a series of cancer attacks meant that her album was not completed before 1999, aptly entitled Survival. Her second album Come Into My Life followed in 2005. Since then, a third album, Seasons, consisting of new recordings and demos recorded over the last decades, has been announced but sadly put on hold. This collection here, courtesy of Marek Mendygral, is a compilation of Marcia s early works with Boney M. (and her 1971 solo single Could Be Love) and her postBoney M. recordings, presented as two beautiful megamixes.
