Solar Storm Alert: Three CMEs Set To Hit Earths Magnetic Field Today
Since Feb. 8th, the sun has hurled multiple CMEs into space. A handful of them might hit Earth on Feb. 1314. A new NOAA forecast model shows at least three solar storm clouds approaching for strikes on Feb. 13th. The closelyspaced arrival of these three CMEs could spark G1 (Minor) to G2class (Moderate) geomagnetic storms with highlatitude auroras in northern Europe, Canada, and northerntier US states from Maine to Washington.
