Heena and Paresh Patel run one of San Franciscos most exciting restaurants Besharam, a Gujarati Indian fine dining establishment. The name Besharam means shameless, a trait that the family has used to great benefit in their journey. Moving from London to California in the 1990s, they worked for over 20 years running a liquor store, flower shop, before finally earning a chance to run their dream restaurant, all the while raising two successful children and maintaining the family. Today theyre proudly shameless, serving an exclusively vegetarian menu thats exciting and delicious.
