Amtrak Vermonter Derailment Locomotive Cleanup
On October 5, 2015, Amtrak s southbound Vermonter train, 55 struck a rock slide and was jettisoned into the woods and down a steep embankment near Northfield, Vermont. In the following days, the equipment that remained near or on the rightofway was rerailed by crews from R. J. Corman, while the locomotive became the task of the Winters Rigging Inc.
