NG 13: S. S. Robert H. Lawrence Cygnus departure
Northrop Grummans Cygnus spacecraft, dubbed the S. S. Robert H. Lawrence, was unberthed from the International Space Stations Unity module and released by the Canadarm2 robotic arm on 11 May 2020, at 16:08 UTC (12:08 EDT). Within 24 hours of its release, Cygnus will begin its secondary mission, hosting the Spacecraft Fire Safety Experiment IV (SaffireIV), which provides an environment to safely study fire in microgravity.
