When The Heart Is Young (1928)
No title. Intertitle reads: Youth, with all its grace and life and boundless Six women dance in a circle in the garden of a beautiful country house. The girls are barefoot and wear flimsy diaphanous dresses. Ancient Greece style outfits Various views of their dance. The dance involves much running hither and thither and balletic leaps. Low angle shots of the girls running and leaping past the camera. Each step and leap a picture of graceful motion via the slow camera. We see them dance in slow motion this gives the audience good views of the girls underwear and legs. The dance seems to represent freedom and paganism I think This type of back to nature type dancing is usually contrasted with the modern Charleston or something of the sort. Story seems incomplete.
