From the Opera Theatre of the Sydney Opera House in August 1981, Joan Sutherland sings the scene of Marguerite de Valois from the opening of Act Two of Meyerbeer s LES HUGUENOTS. The two Maids of Honour are Beryl Furlan and Rosemary Gunn with AnneMaree McDonald as Urbain. The orchestra in this performance is conducted by Richard Bonynge.
