Mexico: Pro lifers protest Supreme Court decision on decriminalisation of abortion
Subscribe to our channel Around 6, 000 protesters gathered outside of the National Auditorium to participate in the National March in Favour of Women and Life in Mexico City on Sunday. Several different prolife organisations and the Conference of the Mexican Episcopate called for the rally to protest against the country s Supreme Court resolution passed on September 7 that declared the criminalisation of abortion unconstitutional. Protesters were holding up religious banners showing Jesus Christ and the Virgin of Guadalupe as well as signs reading, yes to life and my heart beats as they proceeded through the city. Activist Claudia Guadalupe Mojica called the court ruling a culture of death and said that a lot of citizens do not agree with the decision. We are not in favour of abortion, we want life.
