Examine the scans of Adam s YWing molds here: Adam digs out three silicone molds of a YWing starfighter model he made over 23 years ago as prototypes for Star Warslicensed toys These fragile molds are prime examples of the challenge that all effects shops face in preserving the work of their past; every casting deteriorates and could destroy that mold.
