Single Wire Construction of French Beaded Violets: Part 4 Leaves This video uses 11, 0 beads for the flowers and leaves and a single 8, 0 bead for the center (6, 0 also works well, maybe better, depending upon your preference). 1 inch (2. 5 cm) Basic Frame PT, RB (pointed top, round bottom) 9 13 total rows (make leaves of different sizes for a more natural look. MAKE SURE YOUR LOOP for the basic frame is large enough This will be your stem. I use a ca. 10 inch loop. Once you are happy with the leave finish the top by bending back the frame wire and trimming it close. Cut the leaf from the spool leaving several inches of wire (ca. 4 inches). Split the loop and add beads to each half of the loop. then twist the wires together to close. You can twist the beaded portions together or leave them as is.
