L intelligenza artificiale entra a capofitto nella religione
L essere umano non è infallibile e chi se non meglio di un essere robotico animato dall AI potrebbe guidarci verso l illuminazione raggiunta dal Buddha Questo sembra essere il messaggio inviatoci dal tempio Zen di Kodaji, a Kyoto, in Giappone, dove a guidare le preghiere non è più un monaco in carne ed ossa ma un robot. Immaginato per avere le sembianze della Dea buddista della pietà, perlopiù in alluminio, Midar è oramai entrato a pieno titolo, e a gamba tesa, non solo nel tempio giapponese ma, come sostengono molti critici, nell universo della religione. Si tratta dunque, a tutti gli effetti, di un prete robotico androgino programmato per interagire con i fedeli.
