RUSSIA: CHECHNYA: RUSSIAN PRISONERS

Nat, Sot Authorities in the breakaway republic of Chechnya have released two Russian prisoners, but are steadfastly refusing to hand over any others in defiance of Moscow. They were handed over to a parliamentary delegation from Moscow seeking the release of all Russians captured in a rebel offensive last week. After a week of air raids, and with Russia beefing up its troops on the Chechen border, the fate of the remaining Russians still hangs in the balance. The delegation went straight
