Happoren: The Bubishis Iron Body Kiko Kata
The Okinawan Bubishi describes Happoren kata as a form to develop inner strength and states that it allows practitioners to manipulate their ki in such a way as to protect the vital points of the body. It is a very effective form of kiko. The kata was originally from the Hakutsuru kenpo system and it is preserved in only a few karate systems. Performed by Toshio Morita shinshi of Goju ryu.
