The Beatles filmed a promotional film for their song A Day in The Life at Abbey Road Studios during the recording of orchestral overdubs. It was all done with a party atmosphere with many friends and relatives present. Colour outtakes from the filming appeared in the 1968 film Watch Out For Your Ears.
