Lasius latipes infiltrating host colony

A young Lasius latipes queen is searching for a host colony when she stumbled upon another Lasius species (central NJ). She immediately tries to gain entry in order to find and kill the host colony s queen. She is attacked by the host workers but doesn t seem to mind as she is intensely focused on her mission. She eventually gained access into the nest. Best when viewed in HD.
