Erins Lament David Daly double bass, Paul Turner piano
My Great Uncle Eugene Daly played Erins Lament on the poop deck of the Titanic as it slipped away from Southern Ireland 15th April 1912. 106 years later, I played the same tune at dawn on a headland looking out to where the great ship would have appeared on the horizon as it commenced its ill fated journey from Southampton. With Paul Turner Piano. Video by Infinity Drone Solutions. See the whole story here;
