Starting from the era of computers, we have been trying to exploit the hardware especially compute optimally and efficiently. This journey starts from deploying applications on a virtual machine to Virtualization, Containerization, and then to serverless. Serverless computing is an execution model where the cloud providers manage the allocation and provisioning of servers. A serverless application runs in stateless compute containers that are eventtriggered, ephemeral, or fully managed by the cloud provider. This talk is all about discussing the benefits, drawbacks, and key considerations to make a decision to choose a serverless environment.
