OK GO Before the Earth Was Round Time Lapse 3 D Cross Stitch

1200+ hours of stitching went into this 3D needlepoint globe, inspired by the band OK Go and my need for a constant challenge. The lyrics to the song were written with thread freehand as the process went along as an attempt at a thread based kinetic typography of sorts (just to make things EXTRA difficult ). Every stitch on this globe is handsewn by me. OK Go issued a challenge for fans to make creative videos for the remaining videoless songs from their album Of the Color of the Blue Sky. This is my attempt.
