Missouri parents may be jailed if kids miss too many school days, Dan Abrams Live
The Missouri Supreme Court upheld a state law requiring school attendance after two parents were sentenced to jail following excessive absences by their children. New York Post columnist Rikkki Schlott noted that 15 days is three weeks over the course of an entire schools year, and said, to me, that is not something that rises to a criminal threshold.
