Building a Vacuum Chamber

Build on a cheap vacuum chamber. It holds it pretty good. Enough to boil ice water and other stuff. I have since used a plastic tube than put the 3way thing from the pump onto the plate and added 2 spark plugs for electrical feedthroughs. The pump is a robinair 3cfm 2 stage vacuum pump and it gets to around 400 mTorr with the chamber attached.
