The VitóriaMinas Railway (Estrada de Ferro Vitória a Minas; EFVM) is a metre gauge railway line linking the cities of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais and Vitória, Espírito Santo, in Brazil. It is a 905 km line with a minimum curve radius of 195 metres and a maximum ramp of 1. 5, which allows a maximum speed of 67 kilometres per hour. The first stretch of the railway was inaugurated in 1904 with the initial aim of transporting passengers by rail and transporting the coffee production of the Rio Doce Valley and Espírito Santo.
