Greetings Tartare is a dish that fully surprised me when I first tried it as a young chef, and Ive been making it ever since. Its a favourite in our family and if you feel like mixing it up and going French, its a delicious dish to share with your loved ones on a beautiful summers day. Finely chop the following Grass fed and finished steak (I used eye fillet) Shallot, onion of choice Pickled cucumber, cornichon Capers Herbs of choice such as chives, parsley, chervil, tarragon. Organic tomato sauce, ketchup Organic French mustard Organic egg yolk (chook or duck) Sea salt and cracked pepper Extra virgin olive oil Crisps of choice.
