Squirrels, Grackles and Blue Jays eat peanuts in the shell like candy, the Backyard Male Northern Cardinal decides to take a big unshelled roasted peanut, very unusual behavior as their beaks are not designed to open that wide or for breaking open large shells, but I m sure in time he ll get it open.
