Japanese town blocks iconic Mount Fuji view to deter tourists, BBC News

Mount Fuji is one of Japan s most iconic landmarks, and in recent years, social media has made photographing it even more popular. But that s created a bit of a problem for residents of Fujikawaguchiko, a town with an incredible view, which is being swamped by millions of tourists. Residents have now decided they ve had enough.
