Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2 1st Mvt Joshua Creek Music Minus One
Rachmaninoff composed this epic concerto between 19001901. It marked his recovery from a lengthy bout of depression. In the First Movement, the music reflects some of his personal torment during this depression; although these dramatic sections are often counterbalanced by uplifting parts. I filmed this as a concept video; as I was intrigued by the idea of recording with an entire orchestra on backing track.
