African traditional pottery village in Chad

Gaoui is a village in Chad, lying 10km north east of N Djamena. It is known for its traditional architecture and pottery manufacture. It is also home to a museum who was in the past tha Sultan s house. The Kotoko ethnic group is currently present in the village.
