Into the Abyss, an Immersive Dive into the Deep Sea

Experience what it s like to delve down to the Mariana Trench in a submersible into the deep sea. We ll be diving gradually deeper through the successive zones of the ocean, beginning in the Sunlight Zone (epipegalic) and ending in the Abyss (abyssopelagic), studying the unique organisms we find along the way in the otherworldly ecosystems of the deep sea. DEEP SEA HUB: Discover the unique communities around whalefall ecosystems, that form around sunken whale carrion which supports a complex ecosystem on the sea floor for 50 years.
