Strangers rescue dog from underneath train
A dog had slipped his lead while at a Glasgow train station on Monday, running off and ultimately falling underneath a (thankfully stationary) train. Without hesitation, the people on the platform leapt into action (including one lady wearing a rather unfortunate skirt), while the train crew were alerted, who also came to help. Eventually, after much pulling, wriggling and cajoling, the dog was brought to safety and reunited with his owner. Cue relief and many pets all round.
