Word Surveillance

In modern aviation the enhancement of technology and the introduction of constantly new procedures leads to a variety of new acronyms and complex words. For sure you have come across the word Surveillance quite often as its widely used in radar terminology. Generally speaking it can refer to keeping an attentive or continuous observation on something or on somebody. A radar is often referred to as an ATS Surveillance System.
