MAC101 Demo: Manic Bloom Never Back Down

This show was programmed shortly after Starlite Productions took an order of 48 Martin MAC101 LED moving heads for rental stock. These fixtures are awesome super fast (but, as this video shows, not as fast as the visualizer in my head) and incredibly bright for their size. You can daisy chain up to 10 of them with Powercon link cables and you can put up to 22 on a single 20 amp circuit. Talk about powersaving The show was programmed on a GrandMA Light and all of the timing was done with an external timecode sync with the MA s timecode learn capability. I did not have extensive time to program or to timecode so the show is not as good as some of my others but for what I did (a couple nights of programming at home and bits and pieces of two days in the shop), I think it turned out pretty well. The ending isn t as strong as I wanted it to be due to tracking issues that I had a hard time fixing. I learned my lessons, though, and know how to correct them in the future Mus
