Though it wouldn t be a hit until the following Summer, Light My Fire was recorded by The Doors on Sept. 19 20th of 1966 making it 50 years old. Played on the same type of keys Ray Manzarek used, a Vox organ and Fender Rhodes piano bass, this is my humble tribute, tutorial video to a song that still holds a unique magic and continues to inspire.
