Doll Mannequins (1932)
The ingenious use of dolls for displaying dresses, is solving the problem of limited window space M, S of a woman in a drawing room setting which is perhaps supposed to represent a ladies clothes shop (there are two hats on stands behind the woman). The woman sits at a table dressing small dolls. Dissolve to C, U of one of the dolls. Woman turns the doll to display her dress. She adds a feather to the outfit. Any style or period of dress can be effectively and cheaply reproduced in these miniature models C, U of one of the dolls. Dissolve into another in a different outfit.
